Circuit/“Crafter School”

Do you like to make things? Does it excite you to turn your imagination into a product you can hold in your hands and share, and even use to add your own personal touch to just about anything? If so, you may be perfect for Crafterschool!

Crafterschool is the best of STEAM – arts mixed with technology and cutting-edge learning powered by YOU. In this club, students will get to learn and use the Cricut machine and its software to make everything from bookmarks to journals to your own tote bag or T-shirt. This machine can cut hundreds of different materials and has helped thousands of crafters make beautiful designs – and even powerful businesses! It can draw, cut paper, vinyl, balsa wood, leather, and much more.

Students in grades 5-8 will get to learn and use the cutting edge program in a safe, engaging way that will let them take home personalized creations. Students will even learn enough to create their own design by the final week! We will have access to two machines, but in order to ensure a smooth design process, must cap enrollment at 12 students.
