Message from your 2nd grade teachers – 8/31/23
Hello 2nd grade parents! Here are today’s latest updates:
- Planners: 2B started receiving planners this week and 2A will receive them next Tuesday after labor day
- Weekly schedule: Teachers are finalizing robotics times so, unfortunately, the schedule is going to be release by tomorrow or later next week. In the meantime, here are the known details:
- Core subjects (math and reading): almost always before lunch
- Recess is 9:10a-9:30a
- Lunch is 11:35a-12:15a
- PE: 2A Tuesdays and Fridays; 2B Tuesdays and Thursdays
Note About Nuts in the Classroom
This year we have children with allergies and we kindly want to ask the parents to refrain from sending any kind of nuts in their children’s lunches and snacks. I know we can never be nut free but we can be nut safe. We will remind the children to not share lunches or touch any food that is not theirs.
