Reminders about safety and parking in the neighborhood

We want to make sure everyone is doing their part to keep our kids SAFE. We also want to be respectful of our neighbors and their space. When in the surrounding area of the school, please:

  • drive slowly.
  • do not park in the RED zones. It blocks sight lines into the crosswalks and driveways and puts our kids at risk if cars and kids cannot properly see.
  • do not block driveways.
  • be cognizant of all parking signs.
  • do not park in the carline drop off area on Ohio between 7-9am.

 

FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT LUNCH DELIVERIES

Students are NOT allowed to have food delivered to school by delivery services including but not limited to Doordash, UberEats, Grubhub, and pizza delivery services.

If a lunch or water bottle is forgotten, parents may drop one off at the main office. Fast food delivered by parents for a forgotten lunch should not be in the restaurant’s packaging (no Chick-Fil-A or Mcdonald’s bags please). Instead, it should be in a plain bag or the student’s regular lunch container. Labeling the bag with your child’s name and homeroom is also helpful.

Organic Kids LA

Be sure to check out our new hot lunch vendor, Organic Kids LA! Organic Kids LA will NOT be available on Jersey Mike’s days.

  • You have until midnight the night before to place, edit or delete orders with no extra fee.
  • If you would like to do a late add or edit, you have between 12 midnight and 7:30 am on our site. There is a $4 charge for this.
  • You can cancel your order up until 7:30 am on our website with no extra fee and a full refund back to your account.

Please also remember to send your student to school with a reusable container including a lid if they are participating in Hot Lunch and have ordered a hot item. Cold items will be pre-packaged.

Students in 5th thru 8th grades who bring their containers will be allowed to move to the front of the line ahead of those who do not bring one. If you have any questions regarding this rule, please contact Sue Bjelajac directly.

Grade Page & Schoology

PATRONAGE GRADE CONTEST

A note of clarification for new families and a reminder for us SPA veterans about our *Patronage Grade Contest* for the FREE Pre-festival ICE CREAM PARTY on Oct. 17,

PATRONAGE GRADE CONTEST IS A

PARTICIPATION BASED CONTEST!!!!

That means, ANY amount, EVEN $1 will get us to 100% PARTICIPATION and as always any amount is most appreciated.

Also, if you have more than 1 child attending SPA, your one donation counts towards ALL YOUR CHILDREN attending St. Paul’s. You will have an opportunity to enter your child(s) name(s) & grade(s) during checkout. You do not need to make separate donations for each child/grade…unless you want to 🙂

Deadline is Oct. 16, so please help our kids get their free ice cream party by donating today!
