Hi 4th Grade parents,

We hope everyone is enjoying the last days of summer. 
The school year is fast approaching and it’s hard to believe our children will be starting 4th grade!
For those of you we haven’t had the opportunity to meet, we’d like to introduce ourselves.
Cookie Kumpibal (Dad to Rylie in 7th, Leyton in 6th and Senna in 4th) and I, Maria Lagos, (Mom to Maria in 7th, Santiago in 6th and Jeronimo in 4th) are thrilled to be your room parents this year.
First, we would like send a warm welcome to our new families:

WhatsApp – While this is not an official form of school communication, it is a useful way to communicate between the parents in the class. It is open to all parents. If you were not on the 3rd grade WhatsApp chat and would like to join this year’s group, please text Cookie or myself and we will add you.
First Day of School is EARLY DISMISSAL at 12:30pm – 8/29/23 – EARLY DISMISSAL 12:30pm  Aftercare is available. Click HERE to sign up for Aftercare. Remember Aftercare is complimentary to all students on Fridays until 3:30 p.m (no sign-up necessary).
KEY DATES:  Below are some key dates to keep in mind through 11/06
  • 8/24 & 8/25………..Uniform Exchange Donation Drop off
  • 8/26…………………Uniform Exchange & Festival Wear Pop-up – (10am-2pm)

-This is a great opportunity to pick up some FREE gently worn uniform items, especially for new families

  • 8/27…………………Parish End-of-Summer In-N-Out Picnic (5:30pm – 8:30pm)
  • 8/29…………………FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL & Back to School Coffee

– First day of school & Coffee Social for parents at 8:15am in the JCPC. Early Dismissal at 12:30pm (Aftercare available, sign up HERE)

  • 8/31………………..Fingerprinting on location at SPA

– Fingerprinting will be held on  8/31 and the Virtus Training Part I date has changed to Thursday, September 7th at 9:30 AM (reminder that everyone must complete Virtus training and be fingerprinted to volunteer on campus)

  • 9/04………………..Labor Day –(No School)
  • 9/05………………..Hot Lunch Service Starts – Parents will need to provide lunch this date
  • 9/07………………..Virtus Training at SPA
  • 9/11……………….Back to School Night – (6:30pm)
  • 9/14……………….Picture Day (Full Formal uniform)
  • 9/28………………Traffic Duty Oreintation (8:05am)
  • 10/20-22………….FESTIVAL!!!! and Apostle’s Attic
  • 10/23……………..No School (: Recovery day from ALL the Festival FUN 🙂
  • 11/06……………..LITURGY DINNER
