Clubs & Leadership

Leading, Serving, Growing – Starting Now

Clubs & Leadership Opportunities

At Saint Paul, leadership is not something students wait to learn; it is something they practice every day. From elected positions to specialized councils, our students drive meaningful change, support their peers, and discover their unique leadership strengths.

Student Council

Our Student Council consists of 10 elected representatives plus the leaders from each specialized council. These students serve as the voice of the student body, organizing events, addressing concerns, and fostering school spirit while learning democratic processes and collaborative decision-making.

Specialized Leadership Councils

Beyond Student Council, students in grades 5-8 can join councils that align with their passions:

Arts Council prepares materials for projects and enhances our campus with student creativity, working alongside our art teacher to bring beauty to school activities and spaces.

Library Council maintains our library by shelving books, organizing collections, and advising on new purchases. These 5th-8th graders assist younger students and help host special events like author visits and the Literati Book Fair.

Yearbook Council is entirely student-run. Our 6th-8th-grade team of 10-15 students, led by 8th-grade editors, chooses the theme, designs pages, and creates the final product with minimal adult oversight.

Music Council offers additional training beyond regular class time through ensemble experiences with guitars, keyboards, percussion, strings, and more. Select groups perform at our end-of-year concert.

These councils are not just résumé builders; they are real experiences in responsibility, collaboration, and service. At Saint Paul, students do not wait to become leaders; they lead today.
