A Foundation That Lasts a Lifetime

Music: Where Every Voice Matters

From the moment our youngest students discover they can make their hands “sing” using solfege signs (do, re, mi) to eighth graders performing original compositions on guitar, music fills our hallways with joy. Our comprehensive program does not just teach notes and rhythms; it builds confident performers and lifelong music lovers.

Primary Grades: Learning Through Song and Movement

Using the renowned Kodály method, our DK-5 students learn music the way they learned to speak—naturally and joyfully. They clap rhythms, sing melodies, and move to the beat, internalizing musical concepts through play before ever seeing a note on paper.  Watch a first-grader’s pride when they can “read” a song with their eyes and hear it in their mind, or see a fifth grader confidently lead the school in song at Mass.

Beyond the classroom, students shine as cantors at school liturgies, join our dedicated Children’s Choir for Sunday Masses, or explore instruments through our after-school enrichment program. Every child finds their musical voice here.

Middle School: From Keyboards to Concert Stages

Our upper school students dive deeper, mastering everything from reading music to playing piano and guitar. They improvise using jazz scales, compose original pieces, and explore music history spanning from Bach to the present day.

The skills they develop come alive in our spectacular performances. The annual Christmas Pageant fills our church with heavenly harmonies, while our two Spring Sing concerts showcase the remarkable growth of every student musician. Parents regularly tell us they are amazed by what their children can accomplish in just one school year.

Music for Life

Whether your child dreams of Broadway or simply wants to strum a guitar around a campfire someday, our music program gives them the skills and confidence to make music part of their life forever. More importantly, they learn collaboration, discipline, self-expression, and the pure joy of creating something beautiful together.

Come hear the difference an exceptional music program makes.
