From the moment your kindergartner first steps through our doors to their final days as an eighth-grader, the Media Center evolves to meet their changing needs. Our full-time, dedicated staff makes sure every student finds exactly what they need, whether that is the perfect picture book for a beginning reader or advanced robotics resources for a budding engineer.
Where Stories Come Alive
We believe in the power of stories to transform young minds. Throughout the year, published authors visit our campus through our partnership with Children’s Book World, bringing their characters to life and inspiring our students to see themselves as writers. The nationally acclaimed Story Pirates troupe takes this magic even further, transforming student-written stories into live theatrical performances that celebrate creativity and build confidence.
Our carefully curated collection constantly evolves based on input from our student Library Council, ensuring we always have books that spark joy and challenge thinking. Regular “read aloud” sessions led by faculty and parent volunteers create moments of shared storytelling, followed by hands-on activities that deepen understanding and connection.
Innovation and Creation in Our Makerspace
Watch your child’s eyes light up as they bring their ideas to life in our Makerspace. Here, students learn that failure is just another step toward success as they design, build, and collaborate on projects that blend art, science, and technology.
Building Community Across Grades
One of the Media Center’s most beautiful traditions is how it brings our school family together. Middle school students discover the rewards of mentorship by serving as peer tutors for younger children after school, building leadership skills while reinforcing their own learning. Our Broadcast Club gives students real-world media experience while keeping our community connected through morning announcements and special productions.
For our middle schoolers, the Media Center becomes a place where they can work on homework after school, get help when needed, and strengthen the friendships that make these years memorable.
Preparing Digital Citizens
