Musical Theatre
At Saint Paul, Musical Theatre is not just about putting on a show—it is about creating magic, building community, and watching what happens when students dare to step into the spotlight.
Two Programs, Endless Possibilities
Our school-year production runs October through April/May, culminating in a full-scale theatrical experience that audiences consistently describe as “high school caliber.” Our summer program offers an intensive four-week experience each June/July, perfect for students ready to dive deep into theatre during break.
Both programs deliver the complete theatre journey: auditions, rehearsals, choreography, vocal coaching, and finally, opening night. And here is our promise: every brave student who auditions earns a role. No cuts, no rejections, just opportunities. Students who prefer working behind the scenes can join our stage crew and contribute to the technical magic that makes each production shine.
A Family Takes the Stage
What makes our Musical Theatre program truly special? The family we create. Over weeks of rehearsals, our cast and crew become a tight-knit community built on trust, cooperation, and artistic openness. This is a safe space where the shyest student can find their voice, where mistakes become learning moments, and where every role matters.
The attention to detail is extraordinary—from costumes to choreography, lighting to set design. Our productions look and feel professional because we treat them that way, and our students rise to meet that standard with remarkable dedication and talent.
It Takes a Village
Musical Theatre at Saint Paul is a true community effort. Parents commit to at least one volunteer position, whether helping with costumes, crafting props, providing snacks and meals for cast and crew, managing backstage logistics, or countless other essential roles. This partnership between students, families, and directors creates something unforgettable: memories that last a lifetime and a genuine love for the art of theatre.
Ready for the spotlight? Auditions await.
