Week of September 27th

THANK YOU! What a fantastic festival weekend for our community to come together and celebrate One Love! A heartfelt thank you to ALL our 7th grade families for making the weekend possible: whether you served on the Festival Committee, sponsored a festival ride or booth, donated to the auction, worked your festival shifts (especially in the 7th grade booth!), bid on auction items, or came and enjoyed the festival atmosphere with your family and friends—you made an essential contribution to the success of the weekend. And special thanks to Staci Puryear and Kelly Wiggins, our 7th grade raffle basket captains, for building such a desirable Movie Night basket on behalf of our grade!
OCTOBER TRAFFIC DUTY. Thank you also to all the parents who are working traffic duty shifts in October: those shifts begin THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1st. Please check the sign up genius LINK to confirm the location of your shift (Ohio or Selby). We will keep you apprised of any changes to drop off procedures or locations that may result from the anticipated parent traffic survey.
Please remember that ALL volunteers, including those for traffic duty, need to submit either: (a) proof of vaccination, or (b) proof of a negative Covid test result within 72 hours prior to each volunteering opportunity. If you have not already done so, please email your required documents to Nurse A at nursesoffice@sp-apostle.org as soon as possible.
SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY. St. Monica’s Green Team is hosting their first annual youth climate summit on Saturday, October 2nd, from 9am to 2pm at St. Monica’s Church in Santa Monica. REGISTER HERE before Wednesday for your 7th grade student to attend. Ms. BJ will offer service hour credit to attendees.
