Week of April 4: Lesson Plans

HIGHLIGHTS

RECONCILIATION

Third grade students will do reconciliation on Monday.  Please review with them the Prayer of Sorrow, which is said after the sacrament is given.  Thank you.

RELIGION TEST TUESDAY ON SESSION 11.

MATH TEXTBOOKS

  • VOLUME 1 was sent home last week.  We are finished with it.
  • VOLUME 2 was passed out last week.

MATH TIMINGS

We are starting math timings on Mondays and Thursdays each week.  You student already has a copy of the first timing packet.  Students will start with the first timing and must stay on that timing until they complete it and get 100%.  That means that some students will stay on the first packet and other students will finish a packet and go on to the next packet of timings.  Students will not be graded for these timings.  Some will have a little anxiety over these, some will love them.  Students need to study the timings at home to be successful on them at school.  It is mostly about work and effort in doing these.

WET ERASE MARKERS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL TIMINGS.  THEY ARE SOLD IN A PACKET OF COLORS FOUND AT STAPLES OR OTHER STORES.  PLEASE HAVE THEM FOR CLASS ON MONDAY.  MAYBE STUDENTS CAN SHARE A PACK. THANK YOU.

PENCIL PACKS

Please clean out pencil packs and refresh if needed. SHARP PENCIL, SHARP STUDENT!

UNOFFICIAL STAR TESTING FOR MATH WILL BE GIVEN THIS WEEK ON DIFFERENT DAYS FOR 3A AND 3B.
