Sunday School Volunteers Needed

Who: babies, toddlers and pre-K children

When: Sundays, 9:30 am mass

Where: DK/aftercare room on the yard (drop-off starting at 9:15 am, pick up directly after mass)

Your children will be in good hands, learning about Jesus through reading, praying, arts & crafts and songs, while you enjoy mass in the church. As a reminder, K – 4th grade can participate in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word in the DK room. We are also seeking volunteers to help with the children’s ministry on Sundays. Adult Volunteers click HERE to sign up

7th and 8th graders: Looking for a fun way to earn service hours? Love to play with kids, read to them and do crafts? We have several opportunities to work with young kids in our Children’s Ministry classrooms on Sunday mornings.  Sign up  HERE

Altar Server Ministry

Who: girls ages 10 – 17, and adults

Requirements: baptized in the Catholic Faith and received First Communion

Calling all St. Paul the Apostle girls! Altar serving is a wonderful way to participate in the mass, and 7th and 8th graders can earn service hours, too. For more information, click here.

 

Lector Ministry

Who: 6th, 7th and 8th graders

When: First Sunday of each month, 9:30 am mass

Requirements: baptized in the Catholic Faith and received First Communion

We are seeking students in grades 6, 7 and 8 to be Lectors at the 9:30 am Mass on the First Sunday of each month.

5th Grade News

Dear 5th Grade,

Happy new year! Wishing you good health and many blessings in 2023!

Starting Monday, January 9th, 5th grade students who bring a written and signed permission note from their parents may begin to sign themselves out at 3:05PM each Monday-Thursday and 12:45PM on Fridays.

After signing out, students will go directly to their activity, waiting area, after care at lunch tables or to the front of the school on Selby for their pick up. Parent may still pick up their child at 2:45PM in-person if that is their choice.

Students may sign out younger siblings. If so, please send a note to your younger sibling(s)’ teachers letting them know.

Please attend our “Miles to Go” Parent Information Sessionwhich will take place on Monday, January 9th at 9:00AM via Zoom. This is an informational meeting presenting an overview of what the students will be learning at school about drugs. Please see below for details.

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16th in observance of MLK Day, so please mark your calendars.
