Traffic Duty
5th Grade is responsible for traffic duty in both December and June, because they are short months. This means each 5th grade family must sign up for both months. Please sign up for December using the link below. We will release the June sign up in May.
The After-School Literacy Enrichment Club will be an after-school program designed to help improve the reading comprehension skills of students in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Picture books and short stories will be read to the students by our 7th and 8th grade club monitors, and students will be encouraged to read to their peers as well.
Sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 2:45 – 3:30 p.m. in the Media Center (library). Please see below for an informational flyer and the sign up link.

The After School Literacy Enrichment club will be an after-school program made with the intention of improving the reading comprehension skills of younger students. The material covered will be primarily comprised of picture books and short stories. The children will vote on which books they want the group to read, which will be taken from a tasteful selection. The books will be read to the children by our 7th and 8th-grade club monitors, but children will be encouraged to volunteer to read to their peers as well. After we finish each book, the children will be given an activity prompt to creatively utilize their minds and express what they’ve read. That activity may be a drawing prompt or an activity involving other children. For more info, click here.
