Re: Expecxtations of School Families who register in St. Paul's Parish
An active parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church is someone who is officially registered in the parish, is a regular participant in Sunday worship, and is involved in the activities of the parish. We have sought to clarify this policy:
St. Paul the Apostle School is a parish school. Currently the cost of educating each student is $1,262.00 over the reduced rate tuition. To help cover this difference those receiving reduced rate must be participating and contributing members, financial participation and volunteer history in the parish is taken into consideration (see tuition policy).
The school budget must be approved by the School Board and its' sub-finance committee as well as the Parish Finance Council before it is submitted to the Archdiocese for final approval. To accommodate the Archdiocese's deadline, there must be a clear understanding in January of the anticipated income for the following year. To accomplish a balanced budget tuition rates are set in January.
